Educating our pupils on how to stay safe online is incorporated into curriculum lessons for all year groups within school, with specific focus in PSHE and Computing lessons.
Each year we take part in the national Safer Internet Day.
We want children to explore the opportunities and learning offered by resources online, both in school and at home, whilst being able to keep themselves as safe as possible, preventing problems and knowing what to do when they occur.
Our online safety lessons follow Project Evolve which is based upon government guidance.
We follow the SMART online safety principles in class.
